Procedure, Downtime, and Recovery
This transformative procedure was performed as an outpatient surgery so the patient returned home on the same day. The duration of the surgery varies from patient to patient, but it should last around 4 to 5 hours on average.
The initial results are immediate. However, it’s important to remember that complete healing and resolution of swelling can take anywhere from six months to one year. The pain level is moderate following the procedure.

Engaging in gym activities should be avoided for the first 4 weeks, although low-impact cardio exercises are permissible after 2 weeks. To safeguard the delicate tissues, sitting should be avoided for 3 to 4 weeks, with the gentle support of a BBL pillow. Wearing a compression garment for 6 to 8 weeks is also required to support the healing process.
